Frequently Asked Questions

Our pigment pastes are perfect for use with our epoxy, deep pour and UV resin - however they are not recommended for use with Marbelux.

A little goes a long way! Our pastes are highly concentrated, so start with a small drop and add more bit by bit until you're happy.

For the best results, keep it to no more than 10% of your total resin weight. Too much pigment can stop your resin curing properly.

Absolutely, and it's one of the most fun parts! You can blend pastes to make endless custom shades. Try mixing a small amount in a cup first, then add it to your resin so you can see the color before you commit.

Our epoxy pigment paste sets come with 10 beautiful colors each 0.68 fl oz/20ml. Mix and match together to create infinite shades!

Rainbow Set: Crimson, Pumpkin, Sunflower, Grasshopper, Azure, Sapphire, Plum, Dark Orchid, Raspberry & Bubblegum

Earth Set: Merlot, Cinnamon, Mustard, Pistachio, Matcha, Midnight, Soft Taupe, Hazelnut, Cocoa Bean & Graphite

Pastel Set: Strawberry, Peach Fuzz, Butter Yellow, Sage Green, Light Teal, Sky Blue, Lavender, Blossom, Candy Floss & Ice White

With our epoxy pigment paste sets, the color mixing possibilities are endless!

Pigment pastes are a beautiful medium to work with. They tend to be opaque and hold their swirls and patterns much better than other colorants. In our sets, all of the colors are highly pigmented and opaque.

Pastes are also great for other effects such as marbling or can be used for ocean effects, such as waves.

A little goes a long way! We would never recommend exceeding 10% in weight by volume, as this can lead to issues with curing.

Our resin is non toxic and VOC free. We just recommend working in a well-ventilated space and to wear the gloves provided in the kit.

Resin is absolutely beginner friendly and we have a coaster kit made specifically for crafters who want to learn resin. It comes with everything you need to make 10 coasters at home, including video tutorials taking you through every step.

We have seen lots of beginners make everything right up to large tables! It just takes some practice.

We absolutely do. We offer 2-4 day shipping on all orders from our warehouse based in Alabama.

We offer three main types of resin. Original resin, deep pour and UV resin.

The best for beginners and general use is our original art resin. It can be used for making coasters, home decor, jewelry, top coating, woodworking & small molds. It is heat resistant, bubble free & cures in 24 hours.

Our deep pour resin is a 2:1 resin and is best suited for larger pieces like river tables, floral preservation or larger moulds. It is heat resistant, bubble free and can be poured up to a depth of 4 inches. It cures in 72 hours.

Our UV resin cures in 2 minutes under a UV light. It is best suited for small jewellery and coating small pieces like clay.

We have artists use our resin for a range of creations. Everything from small pieces of jewellery and home decor, right up to large tables.

Our resin is beginner friendly and each kit comes with full instructions and video tutorials. You can also check out our full selection of moulds here to see a range of pieces you can make.

Our resin has incredible UV resistance and is designed to resist yellowing over time. In our testing over 36+ months, we have seen excellent clarity retention and no signs of yellowing.

Anti-yellowing is one of mouldd resin's key qualities and a main reason artists buy from us.

Achieving bubble free creations is something you can absolutely do using mouldd resin. We have a blog dedicated just to this filled with tips and tricks that you can find here.

The most important tips are to work with resin that isn’t cold, mix slowly but carefully and to ensure a room temperature of between 64 and 72°F.

Our original resin takes 24 hours to cure. However, most of our artists find that it can be much quicker depending on the room temperature and size of the art. It will be hard to touch within 12 hours.

Our deep pour resin takes 72 hours to cure.

And our UV resin cures in 2 minutes under a UV light.

We offer free 2-4 day delivery on all orders over $75. Orders placed before 12pm will ship same day.

Our shallow pour and deep pour resins are heat resistant up to 194°F, meaning it is perfect for any heat facing objects such as coasters, trays and tables. It takes 7 days from pouring for full heat resistance.

Resin is not suitable for candle holders, but our marbelux is which you can find here.
